Second Chances Thrift Shoppe Move Has Jenkintown Buzzing!

There is a new excitement and vibrancy in Jenkintown that has been building since 2018 with some new faces and old friends in new places including Olive Lucy, Mister Rick’s Hoagies, and Compliments Accessories.

Second Chances Thrift Shoppe occupied the corner at Leedom St. and Summit Ave. for the past few years and became a popular destination for the smart thrifter. But when the art shop owners in Jenkintown just up the street on Leedom retired it gave Second Chances an opportunity to occupy a much larger space.

This spring Second Chances moved to 318 Leedom right next store to the White Horse Coffee and Creamery.

The result has been fabulous. Second Chances now boasts two beautiful fitting rooms, a large check out area, and more space for all those wonderful thrifter finds you dream about. It has been a wonderful transformation and the location adjacent to the White Horse makes for a dream trip with coffee, ice cream, and shopping.

Add to all that the mission of Second Chances, which is an arm of the Women’s Center of Montgomery County, and you have all the reasons you need to pay them a visit. They carry everything from women’s clothing, including some great designer finds, purses, shoes, clothing for men, and a large selection of children’s clothing.
